Walla Walla to Port Orchard : We got to the airport early. No one was there. We waited in the upstairs lounge until flight time. The snow kept coming down. We didn't know if the plane would land or would be taking off with us in it. Although the flight was a bit late, we did take off. Over the Cascades, ice from the propellers kept hitting the fuselage. We landed safely fifteen minutes later.

Walla Walla Evening : February 2, 2008 Downtown Walla Walla. After our delicious dinner at the Luscious restaurant, we walked back to the Marcus Whitman. Downtown was quiet with snow.

Seatac to Southworth : We were starving. No food had been available at the Walla Walla airport. We decided to eat before we left seatac. A delicious salmon pizza at Wolfgang Pucks put us back right with the world. Christina drove me to Southworth before heading home. I caught the ferry which stopped at Vashon Island before docking at Southworth where Gary was waiting for me.
